Popular Places To Live

Costa Rica is a beautiful country, and there are many places perfect for relocation. Below are some popular places where expats choose to make their homes.

Central Valley

The Central Valley of Costa Rica is the country’s beating heart, with San José, its capital, at its center. San José is the starting point for all of our relocation tours. The highlight of your first day in Costa Rica will be the excursion to one of the 3 active volcanos in the vicinity of the capital. We will visit some neighboring towns in the valley, like Escazu, Santa Ana, Cuidad Colon, Lindora, Valle del Sol. Two-thirds of Costa Rica’s population is living in the Central Valley. Most of the country’s museums and cultural institutions are concentrated in and around San Jose.

La Fortuna

La Fortuna is a tiny town near the foot of Volcano Arenal. This is the most incredible spot for taking in the volcano's awe-inspiring beauty. La Fortuna is touristy, yet it has much of its original "Tico" character, making it a perfect place to unwind and take in the region's breathtaking landscape. In La Fortuna, there are several natural hot springs where you may rest and unwind while surrounded by lush tropical landscapes. If you like trekking, the region around the volcano has several hiking routes where you can see spectacular waterfalls, animals, and caverns with rivers flowing through them. Arenal Volcano features a lake at its base, a haven for anglers and windsurfers alike. La Fortuna contains moist and evergreen woods and a lot of rich areas that are ideal for agriculture, thanks to the area's regular rainfall. Waterbirds, reptiles, and mammals all thrive in their natural habitat.

Guanacaste Coast Tour

The Guanacaste Coast has a little something to offer every traveler. Many surfing towns, luxury resorts, eco-friendly cabanas, and quaint bed and breakfasts skirt the pristine beaches. There truly is something for everyone. You can find a fantastic array of diverse flora and fauna as well as stunning biodiversity as you travel within its boundaries. It is the ideal location for outdoor adventure, from challenging white water rapids to surfing along with one of the Nicoya Peninsula's top-rated beaches.

Puntarenas Coast Tour

The Puntarenas Coast Tour may be the most popular tourist destination because it is easily accessible. It is just a short distance from the capital San Jose either by domestic airplane or car. The area offers visitors many activities to enjoy, including sportfishing and sunbathing. Undoubtedly, the biggest crowd-puller of this area is the excellent Manuel Antonio National Park. The park attracts nature-buffs, eco-travelers, adventure-seekers because of its biodiverse—several natural habitats house over 100 different species of mammals and over 100 species of birds.

Caribbean Coast Tour

The Caribbean coast is one of Costa Rica's most clean and green locations. It sits between Nicaragua and Panama, and there are around 125 miles of beautiful white-sand beaches lined by coconut trees and rainforests, making it the ideal tropical paradise. One of the most geographically varied locations in the country, it features everything from mangrove swamps to very high mountains. Put it on your list of places to visit!
