Experience the Culture

Life in Costa Rica can be summed up with the expression “Pura Vida,” meaning “enjoy life to its fullest, be happy and content.”

Costa Rican culture is a colorful mix of indigenous roots and Spanish colonial influence. A sprinkling of Jamaican, Chinese, and other immigrant cultures contributes to the country’s character and customs.

As a result, Costa Rica is a nation of friendly, laid-back, and happy people.

The Central Valley / North Pacific Tour

Central Valley

The Central Valley of Costa Rica is the country’s beating heart, with San José, the country’s capital, at its center.

San José is the starting point for all of our relocation tours. The highlight of your first day in Costa Rica will be the excursion to one of the 3 active volcanos in the vicinity of the capital.

Back in the valley, we will visit some neighboring towns, like Escazu, Santa Ana, Cuidad Colon, Lindora, Valle del Sol.

Two-thirds of Costa Rica’s population is living in the Central Valley. Most of the country’s museums and cultural institutions are concentrated in and around San Jose.

North Pacific Coast

The North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica is best described in three ways: sunny days, great surf, and lovely beaches.

You find some of the most beautiful and easily accessible beaches there, such as Isla Catalina, Playa Panama, Hermosa, del Coco, Potrero, Brasilito, and Playa Conchal, as well as Tamarindo, Samara, Playa Carillo, and others.

Divers love the Northern Pacific Coast for the many possibilities to explore the reefs, especially around Isla Catalina. We will take you on a whale watching tour and snorkeling the coral reefs out of Samara.

The Central Valley / Central Pacific Tour

The Central Pacific

The Central Pacific Coast extends from the port of Puntarenas to Dominical, just south of Manuel Antonio National Park.

In recent years, the Central Pacific region has experienced a substantial construction boom, with luxury hotels, marinas, shopping complexes, golf courses, and outstanding restaurants becoming the focal point of the region’s tourism.

Besides the bustling towns of Jacó, you find quiet seaside villages with magnificent beaches where you can walk for miles in solitude. The communities are very inviting and welcome new residents with open arms.

What could be more enjoyable than sipping a Coco Loco while watching the sunset on the beach?

The Central Valley / Caribbean Tour

Enjoy The Caribe!

The Caribbean Coast has an easy-going and laid-back atmosphere, and therefore, many foreigners choose to relocate there.

The year-round mild weather invites outdoor activities such as hiking, beachcombing, snorkeling, kayaking, and surfing. Nature lovers will enjoy walking the paths in Cahuita National Park and Manzanillo Gandoca Reserve, watching birds, sloths, and a plethora of animals in their natural environment. Have you ever seen a giant sea turtle lay her eggs or the hatchlings make their way to the ocean? Experience it on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica.
